Notes & Context

·         Some companies are cable/broadband providers (e.g., Charter, Comcast, Cox, Cable One) rather than traditional wireless carriers, but all fit within the telecommunications services industry.

·         A few, like AST SpaceMobile and Iridium, focus on satellite or space-based connectivity, which is an emerging subset of telecom services.

·         U.S. Cellular’s traditional mobile operations were acquired by T-Mobile in 2025; the remaining business was renamed Array Digital Infrastructure, but the historic UScellular website still exists as a brand reference.
